HOW IT WORKS

Metal Jam is an annual event where musicians of all levels get together to jam their favorite metal tunes for charity. This year we are supporting the charity AUTISM SPEAKS, formerly Cure Autism Now.

Once the song list is determined, signups are taken through a web form that is located on our website. We will try and notify the various participants once their song (or songs) are filled and provide them with the contact information for their fellow jammers.

From that point it is up to the various musicians to learn their parts prior to the event and preferably prior to the rehearsal we will set up.

The night of Metal Jam, those signed up for songs will need to check in and find out the number or numbers of the songs that they are playing. It will be important for you to keep track of your song number or numbers as the emcee will introduce each song by it's name and number as well as calling out the name and number of the song that is "on deck" so you can get ready (plug in, tune, etc) prior to having to play the song which will keep the evening running much smoother.

Metal Jam is a charity event, however there will be a $5 cover charge at the door to attend. Donations throughout the night are encouraged but not required. The more we make, the more we give. As in the past, we will be raffling off various items throughout the evening. Items are donated by generous business owners, musicians and various music stores or websites.

Every year the raffle prizes get better and better, and all because of people like you! Over the years businesses, musicians and celebrities have donated items to be raffled off. If you have any items that you would like to donate, contact us for instructions on how to submit them.
